First Full Day of the Journey
So this is the first full day of the Journey. I am so glad to be able to start this Journey and move closer to my goals. Today my body is feeling pretty sore from the fit test we did yesterday, but I feel good and I feel healthier then I did going in to this yesterday.
So far, I am learning to get my positive attitude back. For a while, I had a hard time. After losing 110 lbs in college and slowly gaining it back, I feel like I had constantly been beating myself up over it, and it has been a struggle since the day I started gaining it back. I feel like now it is time to change that mindset and absorb all of the new things that the Worx has to teach me.
My OH YEAH moment is just starting fresh. I am glad that Maia believes in me and has given me the opportunity to change my life. I am so grateful that I have this opportunity to change things about my lifestyle. I also am glad we had to write our WHY on a piece of paper...seeing it in writing definitely helped to make it real for me (like I almost cried) lol.
For this week, I really would like to start to feel more comfortable in boot camp. It is really really intense for me but I feel like the more I do it, the better I will get. I also would like to lose 2 lbs this week. I feel like that is definitely a reachable goal. I also want to make sure I get in all of my veggie and fruit servings this week since this has always been a challenge for me. Because the Journey just started, I haven't seen any measurable progress yet (but it has only been one day lol). The major step that I have taken towards my goal so far is just getting started and posting things on the Journey facebook page.
As for who is showing up and inspiring me...since we just started I have only been there once since the beginning of the Journey, but I have to say that all of the coaches were pretty inspiring to me. I also met some really nice people and I am so glad I get to work with all of you so we can inspire each other through the next 60 days (and even after that) :)

Yup, I do believe in you! It's the whys that move us that are the ones that will drive us!

ReplyDeleteDanielle...so glad that you decided to join the journey! If you managed to lose that amount of weight the first time, I know you have the tools and mindset to do it once again! Take your time and listen to your body when worxing out:) You got this:)

DeleteIt got this girl! And I know I had the same moments when I first started BTC but over time it gets a little bit easier but still very challenging. Hope the stretching with the yoga worked for you like you were talking about. It is so needed after the work outs we do. I am so excited about this and what it has in store for all of us. Go girL!
